This thing was vaporware for years and years and years and years.... If I remember correctly, it was originally announced back in 2003! They claimed it was coming out every couple weeks and would just continually push back the date every time they missed their own stated release date. Frankly I'm stunned that it ever hit the streets.

It seems like they would have done much better for themselves and sold more if this had come out a few years ago, but better late than never. AFAICT there are two people on aximsite who have purchased this and that is CaUcHy and LDJOHN55, are there any others? I haven't seen any pictures on aximsite of the item or anybody's setup, but I'll take their words for it that it works.

I'm glad a sub-$100 CF USB host exists but it's too bad I don't even use my Axim anymore so I'm no longer in the market for such an item
