new docking cradle
whats with the new docking cradle shown on dells website. Im sure it performs the same, but it looks alot plainer.very upset to see them possibly cutting some corners in area of looks.I thought the old cradle looked real fancy.I have not bought my axim yet so i guess i miss out on that.

What difference? I just looked on the Dell site and the cradle is exactly the same one as I got with my Advanced and spare I got for my moms Basic ...

Its still the same cradle .. just a piss poor photo ... probably not plugged in and darkened for contrast for the site ...

If you read the specs on the cradle (when you customize and click on the cable descriptions) they still say its a metallic finish with a blue backlit Dell logo when active ...

It had the same photo when I ordered mine and it was the metallic one when I got it...

Also if you look here they have a better picture of the cradle:

I like the cradle and when I first got it, I couldn't see the dell logo that was supposed to light up, and I nearly called customer support!

I was most impressed when the Dell Logo lit up and totally replaced the need for a night light!

Seriously--it is super bright and just plain cool.
