I am a computer consultant always on the go. My billing is the hardest thing to manage and gets done the least effectively.

I think this scenario or something similar might work:

If you use a USB portable memory drive - they come in 8 MB to 512 MB as I recall, can they work with AXIMs?

If they do, then you could transfer a file - like an Excel client invoice to their PC from an Axim file, then print it for fast client billing with the details:

1. Hours (time)
2. Dates of Service
3. Description of Work
4. Total Hours --->> Total Due

I could even leave an Excel template on their PC, open it and cut and paste the info from the Axim Excel data, then print it.

Or would a Guest Sync via Microsoft Active Sync allow this?

SanDisk Cruzer for that type of thing.

It is an SD Card reader/Writer that has a built in usb (1.1) port that can connect to most systems. XP sysytems recognize it immediately. You could have a driver on floppy for older systems.

After connecting it is an easy thing to copy to system then use their desktop Excel or Word to print to whatever printer is connected to system.

It is small and light and works very well.

I use PrintPocketCE from fieldsoftware to print to my LAN printers via my 802.11b wireless card....works great.
