I have no idea if this is the correct place to put this but.. I will ask anyways. Is there a product out there for the Axim that functions as a "Scanner"? By scanner I mean a police band scanner. I used to have a bearcat but it will not charge up anymore and I cannot find a replacement battery and charger for it. I was wondering if this product was already made you know like a CF card type of thingy? Thanks a lot for your assistance in this matter.

Not that I've seen. If there IS I imagine it would be found by searching for a CF Radio Scanner. There is a radio recvr card but it's really just a radio on a CF card that draws power from the Axim. Nothing too exciting I don't think.

If you've got a "Batteries Plus" franchise nearby, they will almost certainly have either (a) a replacement battery, or (b) be able to build you one (they did so for me for about $15).

What is their website address if any? I tried Radio Shack and no go. Have not heard of the company you mentioned.
