I will hopefully be recieving my Axim in the next few weeks <_< , and I was wondering if anyone else bought the Dell leather case for an extra 30$? Was it worth it? Do you know of any pictures of it?

IMO - don't get the Dell leather case. There are some really great cases being created now, and that will suit you better (albeit they may cost more).

I don't have the leather case, but from everything I've heard you can probably *easily* do better just by searching the boards and seeing some of the suggestions for various cases.

I saw some nice ones that were folio cases and had 3, maybe 4 pages for everything you could ask for.

I got a leather case from DELL included with my Axim X5 (adv. 400 mHz version) for free - not sure why they list one now at $30 unless it's a different/better case than they sent with my Axim.

I agree with the others here though, if you have to pay for it, I would get a case from another dealer that specializes in them, like
Sena Cases ( they have a really sharp one coming out real soon &amp; are taking pre-orders for it now ) http://www.senacases.com/axim/

Which case are you referring to? The Axims come with a &quot;flip case&quot; but not the Leather zipper case

I think andsoitgoes was referring to the zipper case. I ordered it with my 400 mhz but haven't got it yet. I've read some review that say it is a fine, well constructed case.

I have the zippered case. Overall it is not bad BUT I would like to have a place to store an extra pen or stylus. It has storage for SD cards, but IMHO they are not very good. I would like an area for extra battery storage. I can put it in the zippered case, but I always worry about scratching the Axim screen.

I ordered the Dell zippered leather case, it's an OK case. Not much room except for the Axim and 2 SD cards, maybe a business card or two. There's not enough room to store a CF wireless card, the antenna portion is too big for the case.

I too purchased the Dell Zippered Case and it is okay. However, I do wish that I had spent that $30.00 on another case, but back in December this was the only option.

I did discover on trick with the Dell Zippered Case. I made a small slit on the inside of the case where it folds and there a two layers of leather. I use this as storage for a 2nd stylus.

I bought the leather case aswell and I found it to big to fit in my coat pocket. I placed my WiFi card in it and it rubbed against the screen of the Axim. I've actually went back to the cheap one that came with the unit. I wish they would put a belt loop on it to make it handier. I must be showing my geek site now.

I recieved the leather case, now I just need the Axim....I have a wireless CF card and would need a place to store it. I'm thinking about returning the case, and buying the Sena one which looks pretty nice B) Has anyone had any trouble sending it back?

I got the Dell case with my Axim. Its ok but it is too big. I also got a EB case from ebcases.com. This one is nice fit . If you haven't ordered any case from Dell get the EB case.
