Same company that has the miniSync - I'm hoping that my WriteShields don't come in

Cuz if they don't - I'm going to order this beautiful piece of thing! Woohoo!

I think the writeshields are probably anti-glare beause they look more like those in the pic then the other ones. I'm sure if there were a better screen protector then the writeshields we'd have heard about them already, so dont worry about it dude.

Hi Nick,

Keep in mind that our WriteSHIELDs come in a 3 pak with LCD cleaner, applicator/removal pics too.

They are much more economical in the three pack than the single pak.

I can attest that Leonard and PPCTechs were great to order from. They were very timely in their shipment of my WriteShields. They responded to my e-mail about the 10% off "pocketpcpassion" coupon code very quickly. Heck, I got 'em three weeks quicker than I got my AX! (BTW, I'm still waiting on the AX )

If you look around the various PPC forums, you'll read nothing but great things about this company and their products. I'm not familiar with Boxwave, but I'm glad to hear there are great alternatives!!!

I find I prefer the 'stick them on' type of protectors to the 'embed it under the screen edge' types and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to compare the boxwave protector to a writeright style one in terms of clearness, texture and glare. (I'll take the word of the gentleman who works at boxwave if he's seen the two in action <G&gt

I Just received my writeshields today and i am very impressed with them. They work as advertised and are very nice looking. After looking at the ones on the Boxwave site, they actually look exactly the same, anti glare, uv protection, etc. and the directions of how to use them are the same as writeshields. I don't believe you can go wrong whichever one you choose.Unless I am mistaken the 12.00 price at boxwave is for only one, whereas you get three for 29.00 plus cleaning pads at writeshield. In any case the writeshields i received work great and look very nice also.

I just got a boxwave screen protector for my AXIM. Works great!

http://www.boxwave.com/products/cleartouch/index.cfm

No bubbles and goes on easy. It's also easy to re-position.

Cheers,

Sabesh.

I just ordered from Boxwave for my Handspring Treo and the Axim I will be receiving in a few weeks (hopefully). I hope they are as good as they seem to be.

I believe this was mentioned in another thread I can't locate now, but I just tried the suggestion of using some of that clear plastic you put in your printer to print overheads. There is a template located at

http://www.jaytmedia.com/ppc/AximScreenPro...rotector-v2.doc

Just print the template onto the plastic sheet and then cut them out. These are the 'embed it under the screen edge' type as they have no stickum. I prefer this type myself. I first used some stick-on types and always seemed to get dust particles stuck to it as I was applying it.

With these, there are no bubbles (since they do not stick they can not trap air), no residue left on the screen when you remove them, little or nor glare, and best of all - cheap. You can purchase a 20-pack of these sheets a Walmart for about $5 - and each sheet makes 6 screen protectors. That's 120 protectors for $5!

I just "installed" writeshields, it was easy, painless and they look great. From all I've read about using a screen protector, it seemed like a no-brainer.

Does anyone have both the Boxwaves and WriteShields? If so, could they post a comparison between the two products?

Quite sweating the small things and get one or the other. Anything is better than not having a screen protector. I bought a WriteShield and after using Fellowes models for several years, I can say there is simply no comparison. I've had a WriteShield on my Axim for over a month now and there is absolutely no sign of wear on it. I suspect that I might be saying the same thing a year from now. The Writeshield is non-glare, provides excellent tactile feel, installs quite easily and seems to be indestructible. If Boxwave owners start saying the same thing, then you will have two choices.
