This one should work. Sorry about the cut-off link before.

p.s., my wife bought me the slipper case for Christmas...unfortunately, I'll be waiting a bit to get it since they say they won't be shipping until early January.
Go to your local computer store, office store, etc. Buy a car adapter for an IPAQ (+/- $20.00), the IPAQ car charger supplies 1/2 volt less than the Dell ac adapter, I have not ahd anyproblems using the IPAQ charger. I use one almost daily, works like a charm!!!
Go to Radio Shaq, Best Buy, CompUSA or where ever and spend $39.95 and buy a power inverter. Then you can charge your Axim, cell phone, power a printer, your electric shaver, coffee pot. Throw away all those "car cords"
You sure the IPaq adapter works? I haven't tried it, but there was an email from a vendor who was trying to make a USB sync/charge cable for the Axim, and gave up on the basic cable because his Axim would not charge on anything less than 5.2 volts (Axim is rated for 5.4) and the USB provides 5.
I don't know where the IPaq sits??? Maybe it's charger has more power than needed????
Currently, we do not carry USB sync & charging cable for Dell Axim.
Hopefully, we will be carrying it in few weeks. Our car adapter http://www.semsons.com/pdaplugincha.html has been tested to work with Dell
Axim.
Other accessries that will work with Axim includes CF GPS receiver, CF to PC
Card adapter, and battery extenders.
If you have any question, please let us know.
Happy New Year,

I'm planning to wait and get a USB Sync / Charger Cable and use it with their USB Car Adapter plug. All together should be about $20 ($10 each) and it will allow me to Sync / Charge from my Laptop when on the out on business. I guess we'll see if these guys can make the USB charge work.
Somebody on EBay is selling car chargers for the Axim. It's by Moonlight Technologies (who the hell are they?). I've never heard of them. I'm contemplating purchasing one when I receive my Axim. It goes for $7.99 + $4.25 for shipping, so I suppose the risk can't be that great (other than a fried Axim I suppose)
They also sell another accessory that supposedly charges through the USB port. Is that really possible or advisable?
Radio Shack sells a universal car charger kit (sorry, don't have a part number) with interchangable tips to plug into multiple devices and a switch that allows you to vary the voltage output anywhere from 3V to 12V. There is a 6V setting on it which works fine on the Axim. This kit is about $15. I use it for both my Axim and my cell phone. I just have to change the plug tip since the phone has a different size plug.
You all, If you want a car charger go out and get one for an IPAQ, It does supply a couple of tenths of a volt less than the wall adapter does for the AXIM. I use one, it works fine, and that is nonsense about it not charging if it's less that 5.4 volts. I use one daily with my AXIM, it works great.
Can someone in the know speak to the safety of using different voltages for power supplies? If you read through this thread, you will see people saying anywhere between 5.2 to 6 volts as being safe while the supplied cable comes in at 5.4 volts.
