Depends on what country your Axim was bought in ... It will come from the Dell site in that region ...

Check out this website under learning center:tutorials:Axim hardware tutorials: Dell Axim X5 ROM Update (A03). I just did this weekend and it has speed up my Axim.

If you have an english PPC2002 you should get the file R59756.EXE from ftp://ftp.dell.com/utility/. The documentation is R59758.EXE.

anybody has a direct link (or name of the file in FTP link above) to US ROMs A02, A03, A04, A05. In case I want to go back.

I have some problems with my current A03, most probably ROM related, I'll have to test.

BTW when I dld and double click on R59756.EXE it says A01 NOT A03!?!

You can't go back... The setup will tell you that you already that the latest ROM update.

R59756.exe is correct. A02 was A00 and A03 is A01. Don't ask why that is the case....
