Arrow A pic. of a Dell but not the current one? concept idea?

This is weird, i ran accross a picture of a pocket pc and it says Dell Axim on it but it doesn't look anything like the current Dell? It looks like a previous design idea for the Axim. Check it out...:rolling:

Thats a cool pic. I download it and was gonna photoshop it up to look like an X9, but it kinda got lost in all the other things I wanted to do:p

That was a picture of the Axim X5 as a prototype before the look they settled on and now produce.

What is the date on that screen, 2002 or 2003?

Yes, I remember seeing that pic a long time ago, before the X5 ever came out. I'm assuming it was just a prototype sketch.

I concur. I use to have a bettter quality image similar to that when the Axim was first announced, but not in production yet. Similar pictures to that were posted on InfoSync.net and Brighthand.com around October, 2002.

Me too. I was waiting for my ax to arrive and browsing the web to read reviews (man, I read alot of those!) and searching for pics..
