Powered docking cradle for Axim (and others)

I purchased this powered docking cradle for my X51V and wanted to let everyone know about it and give it my thumbs up.

PDAMODS store: Dell Axim x50 / x50v / x51v Custom Car Mounting Kit for Tomtom, DELL AXIM X50/X50v/X51/X51v ACCESSORIES

Just wanted to mention it here as it is the cheapest one I could find and really is a nice cradle.

It comes with a very strong suction cup mount, an adhesive pad that the suction cup can mount to and a air vent clip (which is basically useless in my opinion).

The "record" and "wireless" buttons on the left side are still accessible while cradled, as well as all the front buttons.

It is the cheapest powered cradle I could find. With shipping from England, it came to less than list price for the cradles from Arkon and Proclip. Having not seen or used them, I cannot compare this one. It works out to about USD $40 plus $20 shipping. I am in Canada, so any shipping from US usually results in ~15% extra (duty, GST/PST, handling charges).

I ended up fabricating my own mount using the air vent mount as the base (angled metal, rivets, etc) because I could not find a good spot on my Protege 5 to put it.

It comes with a volume controllable speaker (which I don't use, as I have it patched into the car stereo) and an RJ11 port that powers a GPS unit (or something like that??). The actual cigarette jack is small, unlike a lot of devices I have seen that have huge adapters - so it should fit in any vehicle, wherever your cigarette lighter is located and not block or hit anything (like cup holders).

If any of you want a pic, let me know.
