That's pretty cool...That's not the first of those kind of screens though....I've seen videos around youtube of other multi-touch screens...nice find.

goodby carpal tunnel, hello back and neck strain. How could anyone sit hunched over a table like that? Other than that this is the device I've been waiting for. A while back popular science ran an article about this sort of thing, except thiers covered a whole wall, and when you weren't using it for working, you could hang "digital pictureframes" on your wall, and make digital windows that open up to whatever view you like. And if you didn't like the placement of a window or something you just drag it elswere. Cool idea.

Actually I just want to play Duke Nukem on it!

I wonder if this is what was used in the movie "The Island"? They had a table like that where they sat down and interacted with no paper ... just tossing windows around on a glass-top table.

I thought that was a good movie, and really enjoyed it, but I'm having trouble remembering the part that you are talking about.

Thats the part when Echo Delta Troublemaker get called in to see the Big Boss in his office. When he describes his dream the Big Boss tells him to draw what he saw and pretty much opened a semi-drawing notepad in the desk. So pretty much his desk was the screen.
