Unboxed, downloaded updated driver 1.1.03, installed from XP via AS to Axim X51V A012. Restarted Ax, loaded SEPDA II Monitor on Ax, inserted USB Host Card, "Session Activated" No problems!
Connected via USB to my camera: Olympus Mju400 (XD-card), transferred some of the attached pictures. OK!
I also connected to my Nokia 6120, tried playback of mpg4 and mp3, via Ax and TCPMP. OK! (Now I got a MicroSDCard-reader by using the SolarExpress connected to my cellphone!:approve:)
Just curious, when I connect a hub to my x7500 it works until you plug in more than 2 things, then it gets a bit flaky.
Do you get a similar problem?
For eg: can you plug in a mouse a keyboard and a HDD all at the same time?
Keep up the good work, lots of people are interested in your results.

Box, I'm sorry, but being an "oldtimer", I still use a PS/2 keyboard. But now I have a good reason to upgrade to USB!
Hey Zumpen, plenty of old timers around these parts.
You can get a small PS/2 to Usb converter, must be readily available, they seem to come with everything.
If you do look at getting a new keyboard, you could get a nice combination one.
Keyboard and Mouse working wirelessly from one small dongle.
That way if you do want to use both with your ax you don't have to use the hub.
it would sure be nice if they could make a BT <--> USB host... :)

Make sure your hub is powered. Even self-powered USB devices will draw some power from the hub, and you only have 100mA available per socket on a four-port USB hub.
hmmm - I am just trying to find some company that sells self-powered battery driven USB-Ports - like this one CPH420MP - USB Hubs | CyberPower Systems, Inc. - in Germany. But unfortunately I cannot find any ... Does anybody have a glue? The shops they have linked on their website for Germany do not sell these products ...
However I also wonder what happens if this device thinks that it knows when it is connected to a PC and automatically charges the battery ... as stated in the specs. I also wonder what the use of this would be. Why should it be self powered if it drains energy from the USB-Port it is connected anyways?
Running out of USB-devices to test, i decide to blow the dust of Ax #2, that is running f00tball's A17 ROM. But here I had no luck, when inserting the SEPDAII, it returned "Unrecognized Card".
Maybe I will try SEPDAII with Lennyish or Makuu WM6.1 versions later, we'll see. Have anyone else tested SEPDAII and WM6.x?
Today the SEPDA arrived. Probably stuck in the customs ...
THANKS for the card ... Cool gadget ...
So far my tests were not really too successfull ... The only thing that worked was a keyboard (Logitech)
The other things did not work:
-external HDD (not USB-Powered)
-2 different memory sticks
-Mouse (probably need some driver - the light is on ...)
-different Multi card readers - one quite old and also a newer model by MSI
I will keep investigating and also write a bit more detailed about the working and non-working devices ...

No Luck with Football WM6 A03...
"Unrecognized Card":(
Perhaps Football removed the usb drivers from his WM6 ROM...
We can ask LennySh or Makuu to put them back from Dell WM5 A012...
