Who's interested in simple cover?
I am tired of no one making a very simple hard cover for the Ax that can simply flip around to the back when you want to access the screen. Anybody else interested? I am going to make one for myself and if it turns out good I will make them for others if they are wanted. It will be made out of Kydex.
Suggestions and ideas welcome.

I think there is something like this....dangit i can remember the name though. it attaches with heavy-duty velcro on the back of the axim, nothing but a cover...im not sure that it flips all the way back so that it is parallel with the back of the axim though, i think it can go perpendicular at best.

I would love to see something. I liked the look of the Pocket Solutions coverup, but only when it was closed.

I am interested.

I have posted before with a suggestion of something along the lines of the Palm m515 flip cover. it should flip all the way back around the device.

For the X5, the grip could be removed and used to anchor the cover or it could also use the stylus silo for the grip attachment.

That flip cover from pocketsolutions sucks, I had one, worked great until you had to open it. This will not attach it will use pressure to keep it in place and will be like the Handspring visor cover. I have a cardboard template and I will try to figure out how to post a pic for you guys.

I am also very interested, being a case junkie I still have not found one that is perfect yet. Any one know how fast the classifieds on this site move items, I've got a rhinoskin, belkin and one or two other cases to get rid of.

Just had a couple of minutes so here's more info.
The cover won't actually attach to the Ax it will be held in place by the Kydex wrapping around the bottom SIDES of the Ax just below the soft reset and stop at the bottom. It will only wrap to the battery so those with larger batteries will be able to use it. It should be able to be flipped around the back when you want to use the Ax. The cover will not hide the SD/CF/earphone or jog dial so those of us that use it for music will be able to button map.

I would be interested, but I would rather like a side flip cover, that instead to the top it opens up to the left or right.

1) I will attempt to post a picture tonight after the kids are asleep.

2) I am not explaining myself very well and I apologize for that. The cover will in no way stay attached while open unless you turn it around and attach it to the back in the same manner that it attaches to the front.

I hope that gives you a better idea, my thoughts for this is that I simply want to be able to slip it into a jeans/pants pocket (front or back) or into a jacket (suit or otherwise) with as little room taken up as possible. With this design it should be very small and feel like you have it in your pocket without any cover. I am obviously not concerned with dropping it as you need a rhinoskin aluminum type for those problems.

See ya later....
