i still
highly highly highly highly recommend the Trio to everybody. I have a SimpleTech Bonzai USB minidrive, which is basically the same thing but smaller. i keep it on my keychain. it's absolutely awesome--it lets me interface with both my computer and all the dells at my university in a jiffy. (they all have front panel USB) no IR devices required, no stupid activesync required, all i have to do is take my SD out of my axim, stick it in the Bonzai, and stick the bonzai into the desktop and voila, i can print stuff i wrote on my axim, or download something and save it to my SD, or anything else that you would do with a regular floppy disk (except with hundreds of times the storage space, depending on your card).
these flash memory card-keys seriously double the value of a pocket pc, especially in a university environment where there are computers all over the place that have no other way of communicating with a ppc except through a card reader. that's where a USB key comes in super-handy because it easily fits on a keychain and it goes everywhere with me.
the Trio has a major advantage over the bonzai (or the sandisk cruzer, which is bigger than both of them and not many people seem to like) because it supports USB 2.0, while the bonzai is 1.1. the trio is also available ala carte. It doesnt have a keyring loop though, and my pocket space is at a premium so i went with the Bonzai.
I really dont understand why more people dont have these things--they are so awesome.
