MARCH!
What kind of aluminum case? Regular one with hinges, Sliders ?
- Rhino skins offers no details? We should send the same letter to the people at Fellows, see what they say.

Try SmarterCase
They have dozens of styles, and they fit my Axim nicely. I have a Woods Camouflage fabric case!

Are the smart cases hard? How much extra room do you have, because I have the extended battery, so I don't know if it would still fit?

Ok I'll chime in too! I too would like the alum case as well, until that happens I am using and old one from my palm that works well for my axim. It hold the pc in place and provides plenty of space for your credit cards, busniess cards, etc. The link below will take you there then select computer then PDA cases. It is called the strongman PDA case. Happy trails! :D

A SmarterCase is made from Steel wrapped in a wide variety of attractiove fabrics and leathers.
It's pretty durable & it fits my Axim nicely!
How much thicker does the exended battery make the Axim?

B)
The steel case looks tough, but doesn't look custom fitted.
Don't really like the snap button closure.
Great idea, if they could tweak it more I think it would be better.
just my 2 cents

It makes it about 1/4 of an inch bigger. Maybe a tad bit more, but not much.

Hmm, + 1/4" that's getting pretty girthy!
We've got a new design coming out that will be deeper, but that is mainly to accomodate SD and CF storage along with the standard Axim!

What does "almost" mean?
Were any time frames mentioned?

So I dropped my Axim over the weekend. It was in that cheap PVC style case supplied by Dell. Battery popped out, but all is okay.
I was reminded of how important a good case is.

Hey All,
I got an e-mail back from www.innopocket.com saying they were going to be producing an Axim case soon.
They look nice to me.
