I'd appreciate any feedback before I run out and get one. Thanks!

Looks like it has a lot of LED status lights, which is nice, but the antenna looks almost as long as, and 3x as thick as, the card!!

I'm using a Linksys CF card - WCF12 - and it works perfectly.

http://www.linksys.com/products/product.as...cid=36&prid=434

Can be had for ~$60-65 too... nice!

Rhyno,

Do you like your Linksys, I am about to buy one with a BEFW11S4. Do you connect to a Linksys WAP? And how well is your range?

Sorry for all the questions...

And that Hawking card looks too big, can we say, Top Heavy.....

I don't know if you guys noticed, but it's not an antenna........it's an RJ-45 plug so that those of us that don't have wireless can still connect.

Anyone used a card like THAT before?

Oh! I did not notice that, my apologies.... Nope, have not seen one or used one before for a PDA.

Hi Rock,

Well that would explain the bulk of the card! Sorry I hadn't noticed that -- the link was just a picture... didn't drill down to the specs...

Choi, the WCF12 works great -- got it for about $62 bucks online. Some places even have a rebate available on it now. The range works fine for me indoors up to about 40 feet - haven't tested in longer than that (I have a small townhouse ).

Easy to install, and works every time.

hehehe- Rock - I alread made a post about this on the hot deals hardware forum.

Check it out here: http://www.aximsite.com/forums/index.php?a...t=ST&f=10&t=878

I bought one of these off of Amazon for 45$. It works GREAT! Simple driver install and its up and running in 5 minutes.

Check out my other thread for the link to get it off of amazon.
