Most (expensive)PCMCIA cards have a connector for a antenna.
Cisco, Cabletron/Enterasys, Orinoco, etc.
CF on the other hand, not that know of, but most manufacturers of CF Wireless are mainly what I call home use.(Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, etc..) Who knows maybe someday Cisco or Lucent will get off their collective butts and put out a great CF card.(Not that I have a problem with my Linksys or anything.) Doubtful.
A external antenna for a CF card doesn't seem very practical. Car use, sure, but for walking around with, you'd look really funny. :p
