Oops... Sorry.. That's a pity. I wonder why, is it because CompactFlash Type I connector or software?
BTW I have heard that car chargers, e.g. for cell phones, are killing the batteries, should be used only for emergency charging. Maybe Axim battery will last longer if Dell does not provide a car charger..

I have done a shit-load of research regarding GPS solutions for PPC's. Being the motivating factor for buying my new Axim I would highly recommend looking at this package offered for the Dell. It includes a new high-power GPS and a great navigation package with excellent support. http://www.pocketmap.com/navigator.html
Sure there's a ton of CF GPS solutions, but I was thinking about something more robust and something designed specifically for the Axim. An example would be something nicely integrated like a few of the GPS sleeves for the ipaq. The sleeve just seems much more durable for getting tossed around in a laptop bag or hiking backpack.
I ordered the CF radio and had to return mine. Here is the reason why it is not compatible with the Axim. If you look at the top of the Axim, you will notice that the top is kind of curved. That is why it will not work. Since it is curved, and CF radio cannot fit all the way down in the Axim; therefore, the connectors will not connect.

:( And I was wanting to get that too, I hope they make a new version for Axim soon.

I have been looking for same form my i90. I found that one company, Socket Communications used
to manufacture a CFcard-to-phone setup. They have discontinued the entire line.
Maybe going to www.socketcom.com and screaming a bit might help.
I'd like to see a translucent hard plastic case & cover for the Axim, similar to what HP/Compaq offers for the iPAQ series. HP calls it the "cover pack". Whatever!!....but it is really slick in operation. The first time I saw that case, it almost compelled me to buy an iPAQ, but then fiscal sanity prevailed.
