I broke down and ordered it. Since it does not ship until May, I will have time to sell back my books to pay for it. :D

Raynne,

Just out of curiosity....do you use your Otter case in class? Just wondering what type of looks people first gave when you whipped that thing out.
:p

Why would you want a case that big.
I have had used mine out in the snow and rain.
Have not a problem with it, and it was -15 c out. Which would be like 5 f.
I would like to find a case that would just cover the screen without paying big bucks since there is like 1.5 exchange rate to $Can. and bokage fees.

Yeah, I use it in class, and haven't even gotten a second glance from people. Unless I am too involved in my game to notice. :D

As for size, I want something to either toss in my bookbag or put in my purse, so size is not an issue.

I think its pretty. Actually, the black looks alot better. It is kind of the greyish black that alot of Dell computers are.

I like the looks of that "Through-the-box connectivity kit" for $40 that is going to be available for the 3600.

I am interested in this case but there is not enough information on the website for me to make a purchasing decision (especially since it seems rather expensive and the optional accessories also seem expensive but nifty). I wish that they would provide more pictures and information!
Raynne,
You had mentioned in the review discussions area (in response to one of my questions) that they would be coming out with a model that would offer a flip down sort of cover for the screen in addition to the write-though membrane – does the 3600 model have this feature (it makes no mention of it but one can hope). Also, may I ask, what you do actually know about this one that prompted you to commit to it? It would be great to know the dimensions and something about the actual functionality of the portals!

Many thanks in advance!:)

If you will look at the botton of the clear area where you can see the Pocket PC you can see a kind of latch. That is the hard cover, and it flips up so that you can use the screen through the membrane.

If you want, PM me your email address and I can send you a copy of the .pdf file that Greg from Otterbox sent me about the new case.
