i heard that a company is researching on making new 3d screens, they make them by overlaping two screens together, where you can see one screen with your left eye and the other screen with your right, therefore creating a 3d image in your head. i wonder if they will use these on the next axim model, that would be cool.

Ughh, those silly 3D glasses make me look like a dork, and I don't know if I'm comfortable having 3d images created in my head!:D ;)
Seriously, it sounds interesting but certainly more distant than the "next axim model". Got any links for this?

I wouldnt hold my breath about seeign those on any handhelds in the near future, I think once it makes it debut on the desktop scene and after ppl gauge its use and coolness there might be a change something in the future. The bad thing is that I think you need to sit right in front of the monitor and far enough away from it to see the 3D image right, and I dont think thats pratical for a PPC user.
I can just hear all the people complaning about migrain headaches when those come out. heh :D

That sounds kind of weak to me. It seems like the Research and Development departments have to much time to think up ideas. I can only think of one thing it would be really cool for, and that is watching that old Michael Jackson 3D video that Disneyland used to have. Does anyone remember that?
I think it would eb really awesome for 3d games, especially with new games that have sweet engines, another step towards total immersion, my Alienware is waiting for that!

I liked the 3D flying blond boy with the 70s haircut better.

What they need are the glasses with the screens on them so that you can watch a movie from you axim just like a headphone jack, plug them in and it's like a 56 big screen right infront of you. Also Oakley would have to make the glasses of course for style.
