Sure it's not color or full size sheets of paper, but if you just need to print basic stuff anywhere, it'll work fine and pretty cheaply.

here are some reviews i found... they're mixed
i'm really tempted to buy one, but then i remember, y? i've never had the compulsion to print from my pda and if i wanted to, i'd just do it on a regular computer.. anyways... 20 bucks ain't bad tho
I bought one a few years ago for $100 at Staples or something. My husband needed a small portable printer for his mobile business to print receipts in the field. Compared to the alternatives avaliable at the time, to the tune of $1500 and up, this was a bargin. It works great for people who do home parties.
Hi,
I saw it listed as 'Sipix A6 Printer.' I bought one about a year ago for printing on-the-spot invoices/estimates/receipts and it's great! I carry mostly all of my gadgets in a small tote bag, and it fits right in with the rest of my adapters (in its bag). I create the document on my X50V and iR print it right away. There is also a serial cable that can be used with a laptop/pc if desired. I prefer the iR on my PDA.
I bought this software called 'Lowfatinvoice' to work from and I print in the field or at home when I mail products to customers. Look for it at 'LowFatSoftware.com.' It's all good if you want to give a receipt for a yard sale, on-the-fly transaction, or whatever your imagination creates. It also has the capability to CAPTURE THE SIGNATURE and DATE of the transaction and stores them on your PDA for review/printing/export via html. Say, if you give someone a 5/10/30 day estimate/discount, you can have a signed proof of the offer. Sell a car, pet, etc. and you have a ready receipt.
I sell the paper (4 1/8" wide rolls) in various quantities on eBay (Sipix Paper) if anyone is interested. Beware that this paper IS NOT 4 1/2" wide as someone mentioned in a post. A6 is a European standard. This paper is treated for thermal ops, so there is no need for an ink cartridge.
Only IR and serial? I would have bought one if there was a faster method to print OR if it was a color printer. for now, I will settle with my desktop printer.
still, it is a good one for those who need prints on the move. :approve:
