Hi everyone,
Well, I'm trying to get settled in with my AXIM. First of all I have to say I love it, I can't go no where with out it lol.
Well, going back to my question.
I'm thinking about buying a network card "WIRELESS" of course. I would like to get something that fits the following needs.
1) Compatible with my LINKSYS "BEFW11S4" Wireless Router with 4 Port Switch.
2) Easy on battery life. I know the AXIM is very nice with battery life time, atleast mine is, and I like that option, so I want something with low power consumption, yet get performance.
3) Range - I'm not sure what ranges these Wireless CF Cards can get or signal strength I should say, but if you do suggest one, please give an idea on range approximately and performance.
4) Configuration - Something not hard to configure would be nice as well. I'm running Windows XP on all my 3 systems at home within the network.
I also have a seperate question. I'm still new to the PocketPC so I'm kind of full with questions, yet I appreciate everyone's time and participation in helping me get further involved with pocketpc's.
QUESTION: What is better in reference to storage? A CF Memory Card or a SD Card?
I have been told that CF Memory cards will be disappearing from the market, whether its true or not I dont know. My digital camera uses CF, so i hope not. But anyways.... I store alot of information on my memory card which is gonna suck when I use LAN WIRELESS CF Card to transfer files from main computer to my pocketpc, so I understand the advantage of SD in that area. What else is DIFFERENT between CF and SD? I ready something about Security issue but i'm still lost.
THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR REPLYS.
