What games you guys are playing, and what did you buy for your DS?

So far I have been playing new mario bros, but it got old after months of playing and after my brother-in-law got 3 stars in the game selection screen which I didn't do yet..

I was planning to get Mario 64 DS, but I went ahead and got a N64 instead off eBay, so instead I might go with Donkey Kong/Mario Minis or Tetris DS.

        

mario 64 ds is great. one of the best for the system. some of the games i really like are zelda minish cap (gameboy advance), mario vs donkey kong march of the minis (great game), contact and ffIII are awsome rpg games (i usually dont like rpg games, but these are great), the brain games... brain age and big brain academy, meteos is a good puzzle game, just got castlevania, will see how it is, clubhouse games is a great game for ds, lots of card and memory games, rocket slime is good if your into action adventure, advance wars is one of my favorites,, mega man x is ok, starfox is good, nanostray is great but i find it really hard, and right now, my favorite game is yoshis island 2 ds... great game. if you like the mario games. if you have an extra $20 get electroplankton, its ok, nice visuals...

im really looking forward to the legend of zelda game coming out in march (its soo far away )

some games that i have that are eh...

urban asphault 1 and 2 are eh. 2 is better, but its just not a good platform for racing games.

magnetica, konductra, polarium... puzzle games that really didnt stick on me, eh

animal crossing, a lot of people love this game but for me, eh

metroid pinball, picked it up cheap... theres another pinball game coming out soon which might be better, eh

mariocart ds, ok game, just got booring, eh

trauma center under the knife... again, some people like it, didnt really find it that fun, eh

ridge racer, eh tooooo easy, ds not a racing platform (get a psp for racers)

goldeneye sucks on ds, ive given up on goldeneye games, they just suck anymore, eh

We have been playing Children of Mana. You might give that a try.

Of course we have Pokemon Ranger, Mystery Dungeon and Sapphire and Emerald. My youngest son is a Pokemon addict.

I played Animal Crossing for a while, but it does get old. Same with Harvest Moon.

I want to pick up another multiplayer game today ... maybe Final Fantasy.. not sure. Jacob wants Eragaon. Guess I'll have to see what we find.

It's that time of year again. I need a new holiday avatar... Is there anyone up to the challenge?

 

I am not a big fan of turn based rpgs. Only recently got into zelda, and that's about it.

        

if you like zelda, definitly grab zelda the minish cap if you havnt yet grabbed it!!!!!!!!! its for gameboy advance

My vote is Animal Crossing and Mario Kart DS. I love those games. I also love Super Mario 64 as it brings back memories.

really? I don't know, I thought I would get the one for DS instead of the one for GBA Adv.

I might start playing old Zelda games on my PSP's GB Emulator I never knew zelda was this much fun.

there isnt one for ds yet. i think theyre pushing the ds zelda back again... was going to come out in march, now theyre saying later

minish cap is really awsome. if youre a zelda lover, its up there on my favorite zelda renditions

Mario Party DS

recently loving the new zelda, geometry wars, and looking forward to advanced wars to come out early next year

Have you had a chance to play multi-player yet? I'm not a huge Mario Party fan myself, but the kids love it on the old Nintendo. I've been thinking about picking them each up a copy of it so they can play together.
