Anyone know of the launch date of the new DS Lite?

DS Lite is in my hands now. What a beautiful machine! Ingenious doesn't even begin to describe.
God love the Japanese.

Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS is fantastic! A very innovative way of playing multi-player online, hunting down your enemies!

You won't regret it. It's so very nice now than it was before. It's much lighter than my PSP and I find myself really enjoying the games. I'm lucky to have access to all of the Japanese games here. Some of them are just fantastic (like Ouendan for one).

I was going to import one for myself. But with the US Launch so close I feel its better to wait. I would like to get a black DS Lite (If Nintendo Made It) but white will have to do. :D

The enamel navy (which I bought) is close to black, being very dark. I've seen the white ones on display at a recent IT show here in Singapore and after just a day of people playing them they were very dirty. The main areas of the white one are easy enough to clean as it is all covered in a clear plastic coating, but the white buttons and pad get really dirty/stained.
Personal preference, of course. People are anticipating a new colour with the release of the new Super Mario in May. Expected to come as a bundle/limited edition.

Can you share any pictures of your unit? Would be neat to see one that someone has.
I am a PSP guy myself right now, but who knows in the future :p

Exactly that's what I was going to ask, pictures would be very nice.
I love my PSP but from all the fuzz I've been reading, it makes me think I will have to buy DS as well. I think games are cheaper, and has more titels of fun-games.

Hmmm....my pics don't seem to do it justice and I don't have the old DS to compare it to anymore.
I'll add some comparison pics from some popular sites so you can see the difference.
Cheers.

This site has a very good review and great pics comparing it to everything from the old DS to an iPod. Plus you can order a Japanese set from them if you like (Japanese sets have the same voltage so it will plug into the wall in NA)

Cheers.

You can order it now through the company lik-sang in Hong Kong. Good pricing and delivery is quick.
Not sure what the launch date is in NA.
