Loox 720 - Great PDA - But Only With A Working Screen!

right, i have a loox 720 and love it to bits, but today some retard hit my pocket and smashed the screen, and FSC quoted me £300 to fix it (remember, the 720 cost £350!), if i have it sent to the US (i live in the UK) to be fixed it can be done for £123, but shipping is between $40-$80, luckily the person responsible has agreed to pay £100 towards the repair (not as much as id like, but heck better than nothing). What do you suggest?

I had a similar problem with my Loox 720 screen and needed to be replaced. I was suggested PocketPC Tech. Total, it took one week to send the unit from Australia to the US, repaired and sent back. I strongly recommenc PocketPC techs. They will charge you $US229 for repair plus postage. Their web address is http://www.pocketpctechs.com/
