i just picked a 15 gb dell digital juicebox (about the same size) for $25 (before you ask, no it is not stolen) and am wondering if the 15gb is 3x5gb microdrives that may be compatible with the x51v should the unit turn out to be doa. just curiousing about this. any ideas?

That unit will have a drive in it similar to an ipod. It,ll be small, but certainly not CF formfactor. IIRC the largest microdrive in production is 8gb.

Yeah, I think they might have a 1.8" small drive (between microdrive 1" and laptop 2.5" sizes).

thanks for the input - so far, it has taken a charge and will accept tunes and even play them, so if the battery holds out it looks like i can quit looking for that mega cf microdrive and dedicate the axim to pim and games usage.
