No chance with WM5 I am afraid - however, Toshiba did release a WM2003 update for the Toshiba 750.

I have had a couple of e750s over the years and they remain one of my all time favourite PPCs. In fact in the "looks" department they are my favourite!

With WM2003 they are still a very capable and well speced device and would be a great first PPC IMHO. Even with PPC2002 on it this is would be a good machine.

You probably cannot get the WM2003 upgrade from Toshiba anymore, but it might be found on ebay.

Plus, I don't think there are many "killer" WM5-only features that you can't find n WM2003. I'd be the least likely person to know considering I've never used WM2003 or SE.

Yeah, it'll be a first PPC for my fiance, who just wants it to get online for chat and email checking. Thanks for all the info!

Can defintely recommend a e750 as a cheap first device for mobile internet stuff - I used mine pretty heavily for just that purpose. Couple it with an IR keyboard and it makes a great email/internet/chat device.
