Ok, so this is the closest thing we have to a "palm" forum so I'll put this here. When the digitalizer on my old Palm Zire31 got scratched and died I threw it in a drawer and bought an Axim (never looked back). Recently I tried to revive the piece of crap with hopes of giving it to my brother to use for keeping track of his homework and stuff. I finally made it past the part about aligning the digitalizer using a piece of aluminum foil to short circuit the touchscreen (hah, take that you piece of crap). Knowing that it would never again roam the streets as a functional PDA I sought to find an alternate use. I loaded bible+ (an excellent palm bible reader) onto an sd card and assigned the program to the left hard button using my aluminum foil trick. Inside the program navigation is fully possible using the dpad (except for making notes and setting bookmarks and stuff). So now I thought. Kevin: you've got a crappy screen with a broken digitalizer and a circuitboard hanging from it, what the hell are you going to do with this?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!!? I had to use power tools to get it out of the case in the first place, so it wasn't going back in

, so I think I am going to build a duct-tape wallet around it.
I can imagine the looks I'll get at church when I whip out the sword of the Lord with a built in pocket for the root of all evil!!!!!! If I go crazy I might add a photo program and assign it to the other hard key so I can have a slide show on my wallet.
I will upload some pics when I'm done.
