Bluetooth keyboard on my iPAQ 5455
I bought the new M$ keyboard which is bluetooth. I was wondering if there is any generic bluetooth keyboard software so that I could use my PC keyboard as my iPAQs input method. I know it wont be for portability but I don't want to have to get used to a tiny PDA keyboard, and I am already used to the Bluetooth one that I bought. Does anyone have any solution to such a problem?

Also, Is there a way to make my bluetooth mouse work as a stylus on the computer? Hmm...makes me wonder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or does anyone know if any generic bluetooth keyboard software will work?

Maybe I was unclear. I have a normalsized keyboard for my PC which is Bluetooth enabled. I love the feel of it, but I want to know if there is any way to use this keyboard as my iPAQ's keyboard.

I would try to e-mail the makers of your keyboard and mouse. Don't think they make the drivers for PPC's. Pretty cool idea though especially considering how expensive the BT keyboards are.

Actually, the keyboard and mouse combination was only about $250 Canadian dollars. That is still guite a bit of money, but it was a good deal because the reciever acts as a USB Bluetooth dongle for other devices too. My keyboard is made by Microsoft.

Great idea and I hope it sells, but I already have a bluetooth keyboard and shelling out another $250 wouldn't be that great. Plus I had to install drivers for my Windows PC for the bluetooth connection, so I'm not sure they would work with this. Thanks anyway though!

Sorry dude - I am pretty sure that that keyboard will not work with a PocketPC. It only works with the BT receiver that came with it. You'd also need Pocket PC drivers for it as well.

Keyboards
So i gotta tell you my story. And help out anyone elst that is looking for a keyboard. I own a 4155, i bought three different keyboards. Either the drivers didn't work, the keyboards didn't work, or the damn thing was so inconvienent that i couldnt use it. So as a last frustrated effort to get the performance that I wanted, I boroke down and bought the bluetooth fom Think outside. Yes it was expencive, yes you can wait until someone else makes a cheaper one. But the owners of the 4155 know why they bought that model and not another one, compactness and completeness. So to make a long story short, the damn Think Outside keyboard surpassed my expectations. It connects every time, the only problem that I have had is when I went to install it, I got a funny message. Clicked past it and haven't had a problem since. I am typing this on an IBM keyboard that has keys that are closer together than the thinkoutside. I have a dell 300m laptop, the thinkoutside keyobard is better than that one. All of the people that see it and want to try it cant believe that I just pulled this keyboard out of my pocket its that god. I dont work for think outside and dont get anything from them. I just dont want to see other people go through the same kind of frustration that I went through. If you are thinking about a keyboard, buy that one and you wont regret it once.(except maybe the price)
