I have a 4150 and use metal Rhine-skin case. Unfortunitly the unit does not fit in the cradle while in the case. Does anyone know of any synch/charge cable combinations that I can plug into the device without taking it out of the case?

I picked up a cable for the 19xx series and it works fine for my 4150 (may want to confirm that it's the 19xx series though). I just had to put the plug in upside down. I got the sync/charger cable from Staples for $19 CDN.(14 US?).

You can get a regular sync cable that will work providing your case has an opening for the sync slot. You can get the cable through HP.
