OK so Dell isn't making anymore Axims.
I've been using a Axim X30 624Mhz for 3+ yrs now
So if I wanted to buy a new Pocket PC what would you reccomend and why?
Hi. Hope all is well with you. Apologies, I don't have an answer for your questions. Just a comment.
I've got the same question as you. Currently using Axim X50 and would like a new Pocket PC. Wasn't sure what's new and good. If you get a heads-up, please let me know.
It really depends on what you want in a pocket pc? GPS? A phone? Heavy multimedia?
I have an hw6925, which is the AT&T branded IPAQ hw6900. It is my cellphone, GPS, mp3 player, PDA. It works pretty well, but it has a smaller screen (240x240) and only one SD slot that accommodates mini-SD cards only.
BTW, I still carry my hx2415 with me just about everywhere I go for all the other stuff I like to do on my pocket pc.

Just got an Airis T620 in from Semsons for testing. It has wifi, BT, and integrated GPS. It is a very nice little unit for the price (around $300).
How do you like this unit and have you installed any GPS software on it. I have never heard of this make/model until I spotted it myself on Buygpsnow.com.
For the price, It has all the items I am looking for.
It has the same specs as the x51v, but with wm6 on it the legal way, and its new!
AMEN !!
the king is dead long live the new king....

Hey I'm looking for a PPC with a GPS, wifi, quad-band phone, BT, at least a 400mhz processor (I might be able to stand a 300mhz), a 240x320 screen (bigger is better[sometimes] but small is fine), and a qwerty keyboard (preferably slider, the expansion slot doesn't madder (full SD would be awesome but that would be rare) just as long as there is one, and under $500. Did I forget anything???
I know there aren't too many like this I was hoping somebody might have heard of something I hadn't.
So far I have considered the eten m700 (aka glofiish m700), The ipaq 69xx, and the kaiser/TyTN II/AT&T Tilt (way too expensive).
