Hey I don't know much about GPS hardware yet, I'm a computer consultant and one of my website design clients asked me to take a look at his PocketPC (iQue M5) and figure it out.

Basically I looked everywhere in the settings and can't seem to be able to enable the GPS. How do I do that?

Does it need to be connected to some sort of service? Or possibly the PocketPC needs to have internet access?

Anyway I just found this forum so hopefully someone could explaine this to me, thanks in advance.

I had never head of this device, but a quick Google found the User Manual here.
According to a quick write up on the Garmin site,

Quote:

Press the antenna release switch, and it simultaneously powers up the iQue M5, acquires satellites, and defaults to the QueMap™ interface

Hope that's some help to get you going.
