I've got one too! Old school mpx200 - I'll be upgrading in the next few weeks, anybody have a recommendation for a good GSM phone (Cingular) with bluetooth that will play nice with my hx4700?

I have the SMT5600 and Cingular just started offering it again. It works good with my 4700 no problem.

I have a Orange SPV-C500. The thread is pratically new. But we should start generating activity in this forum me-thinks.

Got an SMT5600 myself. Had it around a month or so now, and I love it. Just wish Cingular had better data plans, cause then I'd use it more for what I'd like be able to.

I probably have to agree with aximbigfan...I know that business folks would most definately need them (like the blackberry) to avoid having to carry a briefcase, pda, laptop, phone, pager, etc all at once.

For the average user, I don't really see the need in me carrying a "do it all" phone like the 63xx series (which had/has problems). I just carry my phone in one pocket (samsung x427m) and my PDA in the other.

Kind of bad considering the only time I take my PDA is to work and if I know I'll be waiting a while for something...I used to carry my 1945 everywhere before it broke, but I didn't have a phone then.

I can say that if HP comes out with a VGA screen smartphone (like a hx4700 w/ phone capabilities) I would consider upgrading, but right now I don't see a need.

For those of you that have one...how do you like it? What do you do with it besides talk/pda? Can you turn the phone part off and keep the PDA on? Can you set it to vibrate?

Careful not to confuse Smartphones and PocketPC phones. They are different!
