Hiya,
A friend of mine asked me for some advice about what device he should buy, he wants something that'll play tunes, provide sat nav for when he's on his mountainbike (he does a lot of riding off into the wilderness!) and he's decided he wants one with a phone built in - have a read of our recent correspondence as he puts it best himself:

its got GPS, SMS, MMS, will take any mobile sim, and has expandable memory as well as wireless networking, will accept VPN (not that I can figure it out) and is generally pretty funky

What no WIFI?
Also processor is a bit slow, mine's 433mhz and is only just fast enough. 128MB also a bit stingy. Built in GPS is nice though - but only costs about £40 to add to a normal PDA. Not sure if i'd get on with the button keyboard or not, I admit typing an email on my PDA is an pain. Have a look at eBay item 5799538163 - its a finished auction for the same one as mine, which ended at £132 - about a third of it's UK retail.

Ok, my criteria is something like ; cycling along, lookin gat the map listening to music. When the phone rings I want it to automatically cut out, and let me have the call, then the auto cut-back-in. this cannot be achieved if the phone is separate to the pda thing. I care not for the keyboard, but I think that one does have wifi? (wan – as in wireless area network)
I don't know what to suggest he gets - I thought this might be a good place to look for suggestions. So, whadday'all reckon?
