It plainly states that it is for the 750 series and nothing more. If you try on the 700w or 700 wx, my feeling is you will brick your phone.

Technically it should work on any 750.

It does not work on the Cingular/at&t 750... but it will soon!

Chris, let me know when this happens, My father has the 750.

i'm starting to play with it, and there is some things that just get me thinking "why?" and "why not?" --some due to my dad's complaints, others due to my own toying. One such that got me going was that i can't understand why a phone with a square display and a built on qwerty keypad has any need for rotations lol. Does any one actually use that?

Thanks for the link, JimpsEd! Any problems at all? Gotta do some reading. I am starting to get a bit annoyed at how slow WM5 can be.

Okay, I've tried this several times and each time I get the same problem. For whatever reason, ActiveSync won't work once the update goes through. Obviously, it was fine when I initiated the update but for whatever reason, after it has done the "executing update" part, it will not be able to connect to Activesync.

On my Treo 750 it would say that it requires at least ActiveSync 4.5 install on the desktop but ActiveSync 4.5 IS installed. I've uninstalled, re-installed ActiveSync several times and re-do the update and each time, I'm stuck not being able to continue and finish the update.

Anyone know what I can do? The good thing is that I have WM6 installed but the ROM still shows 1.16RWE since the update didn't finish properly.

I have re-booted the computer and activesync works but of course, the update was never completed so I go through the whole process with the same result.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Oh, and the weirdest thing is that once I "quit" the update, ActiveSync will start and work. Obviously, there is something screwing it up while I'm in the updating process that prevents me from making the connection during the update.
