I have my options set on ActiveSync to only sync when I request it. That is, I have "manual" selected in the ActiveSync schedule tab under options.

Nevertheless, every morning when I put the Axim into the cradle ActiveSync initiates and the synchronization process takes place.

Am I missing something? Is there another setting I should be aware of? This is really no big deal, but I just would like to tell my systems when to sync and not have it happen automatically when I plug them together.

Hi,

That's the way it is! The settings you choose for manual sync are to limit the Axim from synching everytime new e-mail arrives, a calendar event changes, etc. The unit will synch everytime it is replaced in the cradle, but only that one time. It won't synch for the rest of the day, until you tell it to.
