Accessing the internet when connected to cradle

Hi

Have Axim x30.

I can connect using WiFi without any problem when I'm in a hotspot.
I use this for syncing my email with Gmail when possible.

However I'd like to be able to do the same, when Im connected to the internet from home (not WiFi). I tried popping the axim into its crade and then sync mail in the same way but it doesn't work.

Of course, I could download my gmail, to Desktop Outlook, and then it would sync ok with that, but Id rather do it automatically.

Can I do it, and how ?

Thanks in advance
Andy.

I just tried it on mine and it worked fine. About the only thing I can think is to check the settings in ActiveSync. File->Connection Settings... On mine all of the boxes are checked. Also, under Options->Rules.. I have the pass through set to WORK. Good Luck and Welcome to AximSite!

I checked all settings as above and my config is identical to yours.

It can access the internet fine (say via Avantgo) but Im at a loss as to how to sync it with my gmail via Pocket Outlook.

Thanks
