Streaming media possible?

I just got my Axim and the graphics are really quite impressive. I'm having problems however getting clips online to play on my axim. On my laptop, the links would automatically open Windows Media Player, is there a way to make my axim do the same thing?

If you copy the links into the Open URL option in WMP, it'll work. Or IE should automatically download an .apx or asx file that will auto open WM Player and play it. (I do believe there is a plugin install for this, i will repost if I find it)

WMP on your Axim is only capable of playing asf streams. You may want to try other streams using TCPMP or GSplayer:

Note that this is not streaming from the Internet by streaming from music files you have on your desktop PC via BT.

also are you talking about opening your windows media player or opening in a WMP popup box?
If its a popup box ---- it is probably a java app and PIE doesnt support. If you have time on your hands and want to walk on the "gray" side ....... I didn't say dark ........ there are apps to help find out the url hidden in those java streams -- most of the time they are .asf streams.
