Partnerships

Hi, each time I remove battery or a few other things, after recrabling I am sent to setup wizard to create a partnership with my PC. I am asked to name it, but it won't let my (Axim X5) to use original partnership name, saying it is already used. It is being used by me, same Axim and PC. My problem is I now have 4 partnerships. My question is how do I delete a partnership or choose original?
Also, is there a way to skip new setup and just use one that is already synced? Thanks

How long are you leaving the battery out for? If you are leaving it out so long that your Axim is doing a hard reset then you would have to setup the partnership. Also, since you have an X5 you might want to check the status of your backup battery. The one in the X5 is not rechargable. Pick up a new one from Radio Schack.

To delete the partnerships first make sure you are not synced with your PC. Then go to File> mobile devices, and select the partnership you want to delete. Then go to File> delete partnership. Repeat this until all the partnerships you want gone have been deleted.

File> mobile devices

I am a newbie but I can't find File> mobile devices to delete partnerships, only file explorer. I have only removed main battery once for short time to while replacing backup battery, so I solved that little problem but still feel stupid not knowing how to get to File> mobile devices. I would search more but have tried and seem to end up at search box Http// and have no idea what to enter there but feel sure that has nothing to do with File> mobile devices. A little more guidence would help, thamks, Bob

Bob, you have to do this when your Axim is NOT connected.
