Is it possible to access/use my Pocket PC across my Home Network via the USB sync cable and my desktop computer?

I have an Axim X5 400Mhz with a USB sync cradle.
My PC has Windows XP Home with ActiveSync v3.6 and is connected to my home network.
I understand that ActiveSync uses TCP/IP, which is the protocol that my network is using.

hey, all you have to do to use the network is to just sync it and be on the interne on ur pc, it worked for me that simple, but i might be wrong.

Thanks for your help!

I thought that just connecting via ActiveSync was enough to get my Axim on my home network, and have tried your suggestion. This gives me Internet only, which runs through ActiveSync using the settings on my PC. I'm trying to access resources (shares) on my other PC's over the network, with the Axim acting as a seperate PC (or maybe a share on my PC).
