I have been a Palm user for several years. In anticipation of switching to PPC I moved everything over to windows Outlook on my desktop. As far as I know everything was going fine. Got my PPC yesterday, synced it up and thought everything went through fine but this morning I discover that most all of my calendar history previous to a couple of weeks ago is gone. I was continually searching through it for old entries, it was a tremendous help, one of my favorite parts of the device. Now I can't search back because there is nothing there (on PPC device or PC). I have already spent several hours searching the help section on Outlook. I didn't archive anything. Does anyone know where I can look to find answers to my question. My old palm still has the history on it so I am not completely out of the water yet!

I found my problem, it was in my settings uploading from my palm into Outlook and I also did not have my settings right syncing my PPC after I got Outlook straightened out. I am back in business Yeah!!

Glad you figured it out, and was hopping it was a simple issue like a setting. Good luck to ya!

dad08, now that you've had this scare you should make plans to back up all data on your desktop (including outlook) and your pda. To do a backup in outlook is easy. Go to Outlook help and it will tell you how. Also, your pda has a built in backup, or you could get Sprite Backup software. Good luck and welcome.
