It's a better file explorer than "File Explorer", has ZIP/unZIP capability built in, and best of all -- it's free.

I highly recommand Total Commander CE also. It's very intuitive and comes with all the features you need.

In terms of unzipping files, it treats .ZIP files as a folder. So, you would just open the ZIP file and copy files to other location as you would do with files in regular folder.

Total Commander CE also supports dual pane view. So you can easily drag and drop files fast...
