Downloading Windows Media Files in PIE

Hi. New Axim 51v owner here. I'm having trouble with simply downloading a Windows Media File to my SD Card in PIE. It always opens up Windows Media Player when I click a link to a media file on a website (An example is digitallifetv.com)

How do I get the download dialog to come up with these files? I'm not having trouble downloading any other file types. I'd simply like to download the file and play it later offline. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Aximsite!

It sounds like you're not actually getting the media file itself but the LINK to a streaming media file. If that is the case, there is no way you can save the actual media file for playing later offline.

Well, I don't think it's a streaming video. You have to right-click it on the pc to download it.
I can do it easily with Netfront, but only 3.0 works for me I'll have to check out 3.3 someday.
Thanks for your help.

Did you try any PIE plugins like MultiIE or spb PIE plugin to see if save as works? Or maybe you can give ftxpbrowser a try.
