Hmm Off to a rough start...

Well yesterday I decided what the heck and pulled the trigger on a new x51v. Since then it's been one thing after another! First I got and e-mail saying there was a problem with my order so I called them and apparently they can't sell complete care to Florida due to some insurance reasons. Are you freakin' kidding me?!?! :exc: So rather than change things over the phone I have them cancel that order and I go back online to submit another order. I think everything is fine until I get home from class this morning and I have a second notice e-mail from Dell. WTF? I call them, again, and get shuffled around a bit till finally they tell me there is some issue with my credit card. What's the issue?! It barely has a balance and is no where near the limit! Of course the guy that deals with that stuff isn't in yet so he is supposed to contact me when he gets in, about a hour from now. Not a happy camper right now

insurance companies often won't insure or will only offer reduced coverage options for florida residents. hope your order works out for you.

Did you use a shipping address that's different from your billing address registered with the card? I've had instances where they won't put it through if the shipping address is not on record with the card issuer. I then called the card company, gave them my alternative shipping address, and haven't had a problem since.

I can't believe they won't offer it on something like this though. I know somecompanies pulled out after the hurricanes and some people lost home insurance or whatever but c'mon!

Anyways, after being shuffled around and passed back and forth and told to call this person or that I think it's finally been taken care of. I guess since my shipping address is different than my billing address it raised a flag. So that's a good thing. :approve: I just wish they could have gotten me to the right person with less running around. Oh well, it should be here in a few days.

Well it looksl ike everything is flowing smoothly. Dell told me I should recieve it sometime between Mon. and Weds. of next week, however when I got my trackign number and checked it I found that UPS had rescheduled my delivery for Friday! :approve: I can't wait!
