check software that you have installed, do a hard reset with nothing on your axim, does it still flash green? if so, uhh you got some other issues, if not start installing software one by one, once it starts blinking then you know it is a problem that software

Mine has been blinking for a long long time. Soft reset clears it temporarily, but it seems to come right back on.
The 'notifications screen' comment was a good one, "Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications"
My solution is to click notifications tab, and change "Flash light for" to the shortest value (5 minutes).

Its too bad that you have to rely on that "fix". It would be nice if there was a tool that listed all the alerts that were happening on the Axim at any given time. Then you could address them...

Soft Reset is the CTRL-ALT-DEL of the PocketPC world. It's not a biggie to soft reset, it's a way to get out of any "corner" the software paints you into.
Now a Hard reset is a big deal - think reformat, reinstall everything on the PC kind of operation. Fortunately, I've not had to do one of those to recover from software issues.

Mine has just started this blinking thing and talk about annoying. Normally when I have an apt come up it blinks I take care of the apt and it stops but ...Nothing... I want to scream and I don't want to do a hard reset either. Any better ideas?

The 5 minute setting in sounds and notifications works well. Half the time I do not even realize it is blinking. It is a feature I like because when I do see it, it reminds me of the things/appointments I have to complete.

Another Blinking Green Light
Yesterday MY power button began the blinking. I don't have any alarms set. I went into settings/notifications and put it on 5 minutes and then unchecked "flash light". I've done a soft reset about 10 times. I know "Your Pocket PC is telling you something". But I just don't have enough information on what it is saying short of a hard reset.

Are there any overdue tasks?
Do you know that there are several items in the sounds and notifications section, in the drop-down list, and each has seperate settings for how to notify?

Mike is on it. If you look through your Axim in Sounds and Notifications, the default flash is for 10 minutes.

Mine started the same thing after I had some network problems yesterday. My connection to the internet was down. I didn't notice until AvantGo crapped out. The blinking started. No notifications, nothing visible anywhere on the Axim to tell me what it was trying to tell me. I finally got a good sync and now the blinking has stopped. No resets necessary. Still, it was irritating. If anyone has any more info, I'd sure appreciate it.

Remember to press the STOP button after playing sounds in the sounds and notifications screen .... my power button was always blinking green until i realized i had pressed PLAY once to test out the sound and then pressed the stop button... no problems from then on.

I had this problem too. I found it went away sometimes if I held in the power button, turned the backlight off, then repeat this to turn it back on.
Hope this works for you. I upgraded the system to version A03, only 3 days after I got the Axim (I got it 4 days ago). This shows that it can happen at any time, but I haven't found out why it did it. It was the same as the rest of you, with there being no noticable notifications or popups on the screen.
