Question need configuring help

I got the linksys router installed. Now how do I set up my axim x51v to a network on the pc? Do use the wireless setup wizard?

I have a security encryption key from the router and and ssid name. Should this info be the same data entered on my dekstop pc?

Are you trying to connect to an Internet connection with the AXIM and the router?

I assume that your computer is connected with a network cord wire to the router, and that you just followed the instructions that came with the router to set up that connection.

For the AXIM, you should be able to access the router connection wirelessly with ease w/o security turned on in the router. Otherwise, you have to go to the Axim WLAN menu and enter the passcode for your router connection to get past the security.

Read this sticky http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=86191 and follow the instructions. Hopefully this will avoid saving any wrong connection settings. If you have any questions after that, come back, there are folks that will help.

As Stormloader recommended, it is probably better to get everything working before you set up encryption. Good luck and
