Desk top keeps crashing when it connects to AXIM

Can anyone offer advise,

Just got my new AXIM X51V this week followed all the instructions, loaded activesync everything went well when the box opened up and said turn on AXIm place in cradle then is started to make connection the moment it did my desk top crashed and keeps doing so each time I try to sync, I have unloaded and reloaded activesync 4.1 several times and even loaded from the net. spoke with Dell tech last evening and they said maybe trouble with my windows I really don,t know, I do know that when the activesync box is open none of the boxes under file, view or tools are accessable meaning not highlighted. I should mention I was able to make it happen once but have been able to make it happen again.

Any advise on how I can sync my AXIM with dest top would be apprciated.

mine did this too

I figured maybe it was a virus or bad connections.. I checked my connections and then ran the full virus scan on my PC. It found 6 different viruses. Hmm stupid scanner if it were to do its job in the real time these things wouldn't happen. So I removed the viruses and rebooted. To my great surprise no more crashes.. Try and see if that is your problem..
