After purchasing a Dell Axim X51V at Christmas I have finally got around to buying a Globalsat BT-338 GPS receiver.

I have managed to create a Bluetooth connection between the Axim X51V & the BT-338 but can not get it to send any information to PDA.

I turn on the BT-338 and then start up Bluetooth on the PDA, but when I run the Globalsat GPS Information the PDA does not receive any data from the BT-338.

I have tried various ports in the GPS Information program but none work, after 10 minutesthe BT-338 shuts off as it has not detcected the PDA Bluetooth signal.

Both devices are in the same room and within a few inches of each other.

If anyone has setup this combination of GPS receiver and PDA and could offer any advice it would be gratedully received.

On your Axim did you already go to "Settings", "GPS", Use this program to select your com port. Then on your GPS software program select the same com port. It should work.
