I tried removing the K-metronome program through the normal process. The only thing this removal process did was eliminate the program name from the "remove program" list. The program remains on my "Start" menu and in the "Programs" listing.

I tried removing it through the "File Explorer" program and received the following message:

"Cannot delete 'k_metronome': There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use."

What can I do now?

Run a program like switcher bar or magic button to see what is running. Then simply close it permanently and then delete!

You can also go to settings>memory>running programs tab to disable the running of it and then delete also.

You can also download a trial version of Pocket Plus whick will allow you to boot into "safe mode" if it is loading something at startup. There is also a freeware "safe mode" app, but I can't remember the name right now.
