Use PDA as removable disk via USB adapter

I wanted to know if my X30 with an SD card loaded can be used like a USB flash drive using any of the USB "travel sync/charge" cables available, or can these only be used to sync with a computer with activesync installed? In other words, can the X30 interact through a cable with a computer without activesync installed and not using bluetooth or network connections?

If you get Card Export: www.softick.com/cardexport you can make your axim a mass storage device, with no software to install on the windows pcs, only the axim. So you can interact with pcs without as on them. It costs $ though. It will only let you access you sd/cf card though and not main memory or bis.

It is running through the Activesync interface? If so, it is a serial connection and is quite slow. You are better off with a card reader.
I tranferred a 650MB file via Activesync connection and it took forever (@ 2 hours)
